Hell probably, fight a guy, like Urango or Witter first, to see how he handles 140. After that, if he do well, hell go after Pacquaio, Hatton and the Winner of Judah-Campbell.

By safest bet, is Urango and the winner of Judah-Campbell afterwards.

A Pacquiao fight will have to be in 2010, if it even happends. Pacquiao have bigger and better things to do than to fight JMM!!!!!!!!!

When asked if a next opponent could be found on the April 4 four-bout lightweight blockbuster card held in Austin, Tex., headlining Edwin Valero vs. Antonio Pitalua and Joel Casamayor vs. Julio Diaz, Marquez shook his head.

“I want bigger and better things.”

It's funny how a lot of mexicans are fogetting their loss like Margarito did to Williams, Diaz to Campbell and Marquez to John.

There is not that much money in it and John isnt ranked that high. Being that many felt he deserved the win the first time, I dont see any real reason for him to rematch John except as a stay busy fight if nothing else is available.

Look at some of the names he has fought since the John fight: Diaz, Casamayor, Barrera, Pacman... those mean more than a rematch with John. Would you rather him have fought John that one of those guys? Say Hatton became available, would you rather him rematch John over a megafight with Hatton?

I would be pretty confident in JMM schooling Hatton, and really that is crazy when you think he came from 126 and Hatton is a large 140 who really has to sweat down to make it.

Its like Arguello vs Pryor except this time the little guy would win.

Pac and PBF would be great fights and competitive. Kahn would get KTFO but of course people would love to see it.

Maybe Amir Khan if he beats Barrera, Khan is a pretty big money fight and he's trained by Roach so maybe Marquez would want to beat a guy trained by Roach, maybe a unification fight with Valero, I doubt he'll get a really big fight this year.

I'd agree with scenarios are limitless but the reality is very limited.

I am scratching my head at an opponent that the networks would buy and that would make him money.

Seems like the big guys are sewn up for a while.

Yeah, and even if the big guys aren't sewn up, there's no guarantee that they would fight him.
