I see what your thinking, how Diaz's swarming style is the type that gave Floyd trouble vs. Castillo. But I think it'd look like this fight with Marquez. I think Diaz would have his moments early, and eventually Floyd would settle in and pick him apart. Diaz would get gassed and than Floyd would knock his ass out.

The thing is Diaz only looked effective when Marquez was on the ropes, not so much in the middle of the ring.

Marquez started slipping a lot of Diaz's punches on the ropes, I'd imagine Mayweather would do the same.

Sounds like you've only seen Floyd's last two fights. Go watch his Corrales fight. Or the Gatti fight. Floyd is way more aggressive at the lower weights.

hes only aggressive when the opposition is flowed. I think its safe to say that Juan Diaz would destroy castillo and gatti.
