    Rocky Juarez

In the heat of the Marquez fight, this fight has kinda got pushed aside for the time being..

But as for Rocky, I think this John fights sums it up for Rocky. Rocky will lose early rounds, will get out pointed like he always does, but I think the work he puts in early, even in a losing effort is highly under rated. I mean I thought the Antonio Diaz fight was luck, I thought the Barrios fight was luck, but I genuinely saw him break John down tonight. It wasn't enough to win him rounds, but he broke him down come crunch time.

lol Anyone notice how the exact moment that Steward said "Goin to the body is useless" was exactly when Juarez folded John like a beach chair with a body shot? I think that sums up Steward as a trainer and commentator, he's pretty superficial.

Anyways, with this draw, you know Juarez is gonna fight again. As long as he stays active and invests in all kinds of work, his natural strength will have high chances of taking over. I mean John looked solid as a rock, and Rocky almost dropped him.

Dont stop throwin punches Rocky, good things will come.

And I don't blame him for stopping later in this fight, he was obviously winded, but the fact he put the effort in once he saw he hurt John is a relief cause Rocky is usually so ****in conservative with his punches.

Rocky actually threws more than 15 punches a round last night. I still had john winning by 2 points. He was kinda out classed but i can see how it could be a draw.

I was praying Juarez would KO John. I would love to see Juarez win that illusive world title. The penny has finally dropped with Rocky, he picked up the John fight were he left off in the Barrios fight.

The problem with Rocky is, he is reluctant to let it hang out, he is almost too technical for his own good, if he thinks there is a 1% chance the punch will miss he wont throw it.

**** me too, it better get made. Because Rocky can win that fight, he can win it convincingly. He just needs a lil more Tyson in his step, cause he's short, has a weak reach, but he has power. And when you're that short and lack that much reach, guys will just pick at you. And honestly, I thought Juarez blocked alot of those shots to begin with, but he WILL NEVER GET CREDIT FOR BLOCKING THOSE PUNCHES. He's just too short and thick that all people will see is the most basic punches landing on him, when in fact I doubt they're even effecting him since he's basically like a little block. I think his defense will always get over looked due to his body frame and size.

Juarez needs to invest early, but not punch himself out, just dig in and save stamina, cause come the later rounds he can knock heads off.

117-111 John, Juarez lost ALOT of the early-middle rounds then started pourin it on around round 9. In all fairness John was sick like 3-4 days before the fight. He had some kinda virus and i don't believe that **** was made up. We'll see how he does in the rematch tho but, it was a terrible decision(IMHO I wouldn't want to fight in the US ever again).

As for thinkin the Antonio Diaz fight and Barrios fight was luck, it's because I didn't suspect he was actually breakin either down. But after last night, I'm startin to wonder if that was case. Because he obviously broke down John come the later rounds.

                John deserved the fight imo.

Juarez did better than i thought he would though.
