I mean, that's without sayin...everyone would love a shot at Floyd at this point, who w wouldn't? The longer his layoff is the lower his demand will be though. Come 2010 if Floyd doesn't budge the whole scenerio in the Boxing world is going to start shifting with all the different fights being made. Like Reed said prior, beating Floyd Mayweather in a few years won't mean as much. Its a race against time for Floyd. You have all these guys gunning for you and he chooses not to do anything, the majority of casual fans don't pay close attn to the money aspect of it all...the word that rhymes with snitch is what will be thrown around. But no worries...your idol will return.

I agree with the boldened fight.

I think Floyd thinks that the longer he holds out the more relevent his comeback will be, but in actuality its the exact opposite. His comeback becomes less important. People will start to view it (win or lose) as more of a novelty than a serious comeback (kind of like all DLH's post Hopkins fights). Floyd worked all those years to become a big name, but he needs to remember no man is bigger than the sport.

Very true, Floyd and a lot of his fans are under the impression that the sport of boxing needs him and that elite fighters need a win over him.

By asking for ludicrous amounts of money and delaying his next fights, all he's doing his reducing his bargaining power.

Pac don't need PBF, it's just a $ fight. That's the only reason he and Roach would want him. JMM only challenged him to **** on Pac.

Yep, like when Hatton called out Marquez after the Pac fight looked like it was gonna fall through.

LOL at people desperate to see Floyd return even as an old man to lose his 0. I'm sure it won't happen because it means allot to us, the first black fighter to EVER retire undefeated. Like *****, Floyd made history. But no, he's no Sven Ottke or Joe Calzaghe, he retired as the world's #1 p4p, a 5 division champion who has taken who's who from 130 on and got belts from 130 to 154 lbs never contenting to stay in his natural weight to make defenses # history on 40 year olds, which he could. Why the **** you are so deseperate to see Floyd losing his 0 and yet let someone like Calzaghe off free? How many of you are demanding Calzaghe's return? Why does a guy like that, who ended up fighting a couple 40 year olds as his goodbye fight and never defended that conquest, get no pressure to come back and yet the best fighter on the planet many of you have ever seen (unless you're like 60) who was a 5 division champion has something to prove? Righhhhttttt....
