Why Marquez is so overrated...?

I am not taking anything away from Marquez... he did great tonight but against who?... Diaz is a B fighter and anyone who has fight plan and experience would knock him down... and Marquez has it... That's why Diaz was underdog...and beating an underdog is just a good achievement... not great...

I agree Diaz is not a top level fighter more of an overhyped prospect but still he fought a spirited pressure fight and JMM overcame and in an incredible entertaining fashion. I dont think JMM is overrated.

David Diaz is one of the greatest fighters ive ever seen mister!!! And pac destroyed him AND a completely healthy prime De la Hoya...so that does make JMM for beating Casamayor(2yrs older than JMM) and Juan Diaz(a no body).

Actually Juan Diaz has been a champion since he was 20. The guy is not a B list fighter. Hes one of the top 5 lightweights in the world. Had he not got caught with that right hand, he was pretty even with the number two pound for pound fighter in the world, that being Marquez.
