With the apparent downfall of Mexican Boxing due to the losses of Antonio Margarito, Jorge Arce, Cristian Mijares, etc... Four Mexican (or of Mexican descent) fighters came to silence all critics...

1. Juan Manuel Marquez - Fought a hard and exciting fight with Juan Diaz, overcoming very tough early rounds to KO the young lion, elevating himself to P4P #1 on alot of people's list.

2. Juan Diaz - Surprised alot of people by taking it to JMM and nearly stopping him in the early rounds of their fight. Hurt the champion multiple times and was on the verge of pulling off an upset. Nothing wrong with his performance, he was just simply outgunned by the crafty veteran.

3. Rocky Juarez - Dug deep and and nearly got the decision against Chris John, who holds a victory against JMM. Earned the respect of alot of his haters and critics by showing heart in the championship rounds. Again, no need to hate this man. Both him and Diaz gave us the fans a show for the ages.

4. Tomasz Adamek - Outgunned, outhustled Johnathan Banks by breaking him down with constant pressure and a beautiful left hook to the liver that even Ruben Olivares would be proud of.

Mexican Boxing is alive and doing well, gentlemen.
