Sometimes when the guys that are a bit longer in the tooth move up they seem to gain strength and actually become bigger punchers. In his last two fights, he's KO'd two fighters that have never been KO'd before. It seems to me, his punches are heavier and more effective at lightweight. The step up in weight seems good for him IMO.
Is Marquez a harder puncher now that he moved up to 135?

I guess but he lands clean shots in combination and I think thats makes for the KOs moreso than power.Comment

Some what, but I agree with most people its his accuracy that cause the KO's more then his power.Comment

He's always had the accuracy, its not like he didn't just learn how to throw punches. He also hasn't really gained much strength imo. He has become more aggressive later in his career and his facing stronger opponents at 135, so to combat their strength he is sitting down on his punches more to make them respect him. He didn't have to do that at Featherweight, so him being more aggressive, having to utilize his power to gain respect, and of course his insane accuracy; he has become a viable power guy at 135. I f'ing love itComment
