Boxing reporters need to stop saying "age is a factor"

On FNFs the cohost saying well JMM is 35...so what? since when (especially lately) in boxing has age been a factor? If anything age has been a good thing lately especially when its an A class fighter who is older. Skill is a factor and at age 35 and above if you train properly and have a healthy lifestyle you can have good stamina!

Ive always maintained that a fighter can do whatever the hell he wants after age 35. If he decides to fight on, he can do that, but dont complain if you lose.

If he retires after 35, Hell thats what hes supposed to do, good for him! Thats why I dont consider it ducking when Joe calzaghe(37) didnt fight Chad Dawson. Joe retired and I respect his decision.

But thats not why I upped this thread. I want to know how Floyd has altered YOUR personal opinion on age?
