I had Diaz as the favorite, Diaz even looked like he was gonna be the favorite until Marquez started puttin his shots together. But one thing that always ****s with me is the size of these guys comin into the ring. I'm horrible at judging size and body mass from what I see on TV. Every time, it throws me off. Anyways the first bell rings and they're in the ring together and Marquez is just lookin completely filled out, even looks like he's taller then Juan. His body is built up and sharp lookin, much more stronger lookin then he was in the Casamayor fight. He was kinda soft in the body and shoulders I thought in the Casa fight. But in this one he was lookin healthy and like a good lightweight. Then like 5 seconds into the fight, I put my drink down and my jaw didn't really drop, but I was shocked that just 5 seconds into the fight Marquez just tosses out a lead left hook, but the **** whips around and you can see how stiff it landed on Diaz' guard. Right then and there I was put back for a minute, I was even more interested in seein what those kinda shots would look like when they start landing through out the fight.
Watchin the fight, and yet again...lol Only Max is pointin out Marquez' shots. He was landed em since round one, to the chin and body. You can see Diaz' had snap with just about every shot, somtimes in twos and three's. Granted though, it was probably hard to see with all that pressure that Diaz was puttin on. Now Diaz' got a solid chin, but gettin hit with those consistantly just broke him down. The accuracy from Marquez is just, well, **** lol...Dinamita's only half of it, Marquez is also a ****in sniper lmao. He could punch the nuts off a ****in Fly. That **** was ridiculous how accurate he was.
Now I knew before hand Marquez came to win, he wasn't just gonna get knocked down and out. I was worried about a month ago that might be the case, but then I remembered who the **** Marquez was lol. Same ****in guy that ****s in the face adversity and mocks it with boxing feints. lol He's just soooo sick in there, **** was crazy. He's like my version of Mickey Mantle. Amazing display of skill tonight.
