Marquez is #1 P4P -coming from a pacfan...

Yup, I believe it now. Although, if Manny beats Hatton, I'll probably put Manny back up there. But right now, it was made pretty clear that Marquez moved up to 135lbs to face the very best, KOed him, and now faces a young upcoming challenger and KOed him as well. He is really damn good.

Add the fact that JMM should have gotten the nod TWICE

Damn! Knocking out the top dogs at 135, virtually cleaning out the entire division.

      Joel Casamayor, and Juan Diaz

Juan Manuel Marquez is now The Ring, WBA, WBO, IBO Lightweight champion of the world.

I have no problems him being the P4P No. 1.

"If" Paquiao gets through Hatton I want to see him face JMM!

And the winner of that fight gets Mayweather.

I agree with you. Currently JMM is the best P4P. But if Pacquiao dominates Hatton then I will say Pac is #1.

no... nate campbell was the best at 135 and marquez ducked him to fight the 2nd best fighter at 135.

Are you saying Campbell would have beat JMM?

This **** goes on and on though. I thought the Pacquiao-Hatton winner deserves to fight Mayweather? Now it's "if" Pac beats Hatton, then fights Marquez, the winner of that fight deserves Mayweather, just because Marquez called Floyd out? I doubt Floyd is even interested in fighting Marquez anyway. The ONLY person I can imagine him making a comeback for is Pacquiao. Forget Mosley. Forget Marquez. Those fight will never happen. There isn't even a guarantee that Pac will fight Marquez again.

To be frank, I don't care about Mayweather, I wish people would stop putting retired fighters back in the picture. It's kinda annoying.

Bull****. He fought the true champion, and fought the guy who had a win over Campbell. Then, in a common opponent, stopped him as opposed to get the decision.

                    Marquez > Campbell.
