Who won John vs. Juarez in your opinion?

Juarez won four rounds tops, John dictated the pace, landed the cleaner shots, had better defense, controlled the distance when he wanted, turned Juarez all night.

Had this not been in Texas John would have won, a draw lets John keep his title and they are still able to make money off of Juarez, same thing with the split decision bs in the Diaz/Katsidis fight, trying to preserve fighter credibility.

chris john clearly out boxed Rocky Juarez, it was some what close, but i thought there was a clear winner in chris john.

Round 3- Jaurez still cutting down the ring nicely, but John is picking up the pace. I still see John hitting a lot of arm with his shots though. John landing some better shots in this round, other then just the jabs. Most of Jaurez's shots are getting blocked this round and he is not throwing much. I still think that Jaurez when he lands is landing the more telling blows.

Close round although I think John did enough to win this round.

Round 4- John picking up where he left off in round 3. Jaurez is still landing nice body shots though. John is throwing a lot more but he is not landing at a high percentage. Jaurez when he lands they are the better shots, but John landing nice shots also.

They both did nice work in this round, but I will give John the benefit of the doubt and give him this round. Another close round though.

No, its called clean punching, not clean effective punching, thats where I think most people get skewed, listening to Lederman incorrectly say effective all the time.

Round 5- John continues to do what he has been doing throwing tons of punches, but not seeing a lot land cleanly. Some are landing cleanly though. Jaurez definetly not doing enough this round, he is getting outworked for sure. Jaurez still is having his moment though ;landing nice hard shots albeit one at a time.

John's best round of the fight so far, easy to give John this round.

John won but Juarez made it pretty damn exciting in the end, he was landing the harder shots, and his punches seemed to hurt John more than John's punches hurt Juarez.

No, its called clean punching, not clean effective punching, thats where I think most people get skewed, listening to Lederman incorrectly say effective all the time.

To me 1 high quality shot is better then 4 mediocre shots. The effect a punch has is important. Whatever you say though.
