That's right T. The Marquez fight was postponed because of that. I am kinda surprised he's still at middle.

168 is more natural for him. and inevitable.

If/when Abraham moves up in weight the Middleweight division is going to be devoid of big name fighters. Sure you'll have the winner of Wright/Williams up there and Sturm, but outside of that Pavlik won't have any big fights left to make there.

Truly absurd that there's a good possibility we might not see Pavlik Vs Abraham at Middleweight.

Might eventually happen at 168 but Pavlik has looked like **** over 160, and we need to see who the man is at MW.

This is what is wrong with boxing. This fight would be a classic.

I honestly don't think Pavliks handlers want him to fight Abe, its a damn shame though. Abe won't be able to make the MW limit for another year. Matter of fact I don't know how the hell he makes it now.

17 pounds in 2 weeks is not good obviously, hopefully a Pavlik fight can be made soon, it's a matter of time before Abraham has to move up in weight.

It doesn't sound good at all. If it's true I cannot see AA fight more than one or two fights at 160 before he has to move up.

At this rate Abraham will have to move up in weight.

I agree, first the problems making weight before the Marquez fight which caused him to get sick which caused the fight to be postponed, now 17 pounds in 2 weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if he misses weight and moves up after this fight.

that sucks. he's getting older, and it's tough to make weight as you age for some fellas.

It looks to me as if AA has worked to hard in the weight room. Too much muscle. He does not appear to have a frame suitable for anything heavier than middleweight IMO.
