Abraham having weight troubles. Most lose 17 lbs.

If/when Abraham moves up in weight the Middleweight division is going to be devoid of big name fighters. Sure you'll have the winner of Wright/Williams up there and Sturm, but outside of that Pavlik won't have any big fights left to make there.Comment

Truly absurd that there's a good possibility we might not see Pavlik Vs Abraham at Middleweight.
Might eventually happen at 168 but Pavlik has looked like **** over 160, and we need to see who the man is at MW.
This is what is wrong with boxing. This fight would be a classic.Comment

I honestly don't think Pavliks handlers want him to fight Abe, its a damn shame though. Abe won't be able to make the MW limit for another year. Matter of fact I don't know how the hell he makes it now.Comment

It doesn't sound good at all. If it's true I cannot see AA fight more than one or two fights at 160 before he has to move up.Comment

I agree, first the problems making weight before the Marquez fight which caused him to get sick which caused the fight to be postponed, now 17 pounds in 2 weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if he misses weight and moves up after this fight.Comment

It looks to me as if AA has worked to hard in the weight room. Too much muscle. He does not appear to have a frame suitable for anything heavier than middleweight IMO.Comment
