Because he's a prideful, Hall of Famer/All Time Great/Living Legend, who doesn't want to end his career on a sour note. He's fighting a low-risk opponet in Sheika, infront of a Hometown crowd in Pensacola, to entertain his fans once more and put the finish on a noteworthy career by going out with a win.

I don't see what the big deal is?

Same reasons hes been fighting since the Tarver fights, $$$$$. The guy hasn't been good in a long, long time.
