Is HOPKINS in his prime now?????????

I think he is cuz he smash KELLY PAVLIK one of best guys today in boxing.
He look great against Calzaghe and Winky.
He was little tired with Calzaghe cuz Calzaghe pace is 2 much for anyone and they wrestle alot.
Hopkins looks always the same cuz guy train every day and thats why 43 year old guy woop ass and of course he doesnt take lot of punches, and he doesnt cut much weight.

    Whats your opinion???

Lost 3 of his last of his last 6. Although all questionable decisions, which could have gone either way, including being robbed against Taylor in their first bout. But i would not say he is in his prime.

His prime was probably between when he took out Trinidad and De La Hoya. He is just still very good, but passed his best. imo

is it just a matter of aging not affecting him much because of his style?

Hell no, Hopkins prime was 2000-2003. His age doesn't effect him like it does most, but the dude is not prime. How many other fighters do you consider "prime" at the age of 44?

A more defensive style, tailor-made to exploit flaws in your opponet's game, while trying to maintain your conditioning.

Hopkins in his prime = Wrecking ball.

If he loses his next fight he will be 4L W 2 in his last 6....

No he is clearly not in his prime.

I like Pavlik but he is clearly a limited fighter in some ways - you could see that even against Rubio.
