It seems highly unlikely that's Cotto's blood since the evidence they have was found INSIDE Margarito's knuckled pad, which would make it more likely that it's Margarito's blood from his own damn knuckles.

Yeah, they hugged a couple times after the fight, but would Cotto's blood soak through the outer wraps (gauze and tape) from just an embrace? Plus, even if Cotto got blood on the outer wraps, that's not what they have as evidence. Also, California said they would not investigate something that happened in Las Vegas.
