The first cancellation was due to typical disputes about money, location, etc.

The 2nd time because Banks suffered an ankle injury.

With all due respect to Enzo, it was always Banks plan to fight him, The Adamek people came to him and offered him more money to fight in the USA on Showtime, there is no rational reason for him to go to England to face Enzo for less at this point.

If Enzo was as serious as Banks he would abandom his quest for the interim WBO belt and call out the winner of this fight.

Nah, the red K was because you're a dumb **** who can't figure out what a thread is about. Posters like you serve no purpose except to take away from the relevant discussion.

Sure, risk versus reward; what boxing is always about. Enzo is just as dangerous but an Adamek fight pays more. Incidently, Adamek is only the 'higher ranked champion' because Cunningham actually showed up.

I'd be surprised if you could find a single non-Brit poster who actually agrees with this statement.

One right hand from Banks and Enzo would be stumbling around the ring trying to kiss the ref.

            Fair point.

Without even seeing Banks fight he would have been a bit of a coup for Enzo, an American fighting out of the Kronk etc. It's a shame it didn't come off, especially as we've seen **** like Bobby Gunn (all due respect to him but he shouldn't be fighting for world titles) be WBO opponents.

Macca shows ambition and he can't get a decent fight at the minute, even Herbie Hide would have been interesting.

Banks looks like he has really "heavy hands" in those videos and seems to be more or less fundamentally sound. However, I don't think he's ever faced a hard hitting granite chinned fighter like Adamek. Still, I haven't seen enough of Banks to sell me on him winning this fight. I got Adamek by late round stoppage...

Who wouldn't take a fight with with Ademek for belt over Enzo?

Enzo is just as dangerous but an Adamek fight pays more.
It would also be for a belt.

Cunningham has taken many risks and fought abroad as well as at home so I don't know what you mean by that. Ademek should be ranked higher than Enzo IMO.

He should focus on becoming the mandatory to the winner of this fight, if he keeps after this WBO bull**** not only will he have to fight this Olafabi no name but he will have to fight the no name Argentine who beat Alexeev next. He is basically taking himself out of the mix for 6-8 months to pursue the most worthless belt in all of boxing.

It goes without saying that if he wins that WBO belt he will immediately be charged with fighting a bum for a mandatory, by the time he has done that he will not have been in a real fight for 2 years.

This victory will be the biggest win by a Detroit born and bred fighter in almost 25 years.

The majority if people are expecting him to lose but I am here to tell you he will knock out Adamek and become the Undefeated IBF and RING Cruiserweight Champion.

When this is over people will realize that Banks, when he chooses to move up, is a better heavyweight prospect than Chris the Nipple and Eddie Chambers.

Man, you must really be feeling sheepish right about now.
