Bernard Hopkins: Next Heavyweight Champ or Next Cruiserweight Champ?

Do you realize Bernard Hopkins is six summers away from being 50 years old? Let that sink in a moment. Hopkins in my opinion can beat Adamek for the cruiserweight crown and again in my opinion can beat Valuev to get a Heavyweight strap, its all about what Hopkins wants to do. Enjoy him while he is here.

He should beat Adamek first, and then he should whoop, big foot for WBA HW title, and then retire as one os he best fighters of his era, and a top 30 ATG for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why don't you ever flip the script for the hell of it and say Hopkins would get his ass beat.

Just like for shock effect. Not like you really meant it.

      That would be awesome.

I have no doubt that a 50 year old Hopkins can beat Valuev.

I would if I thought Hop would lose these fights but I dont. Its about matchups, against certain people I dont want to see him fight because he may lose.

It doesnt matter, it's the significance of the fight... That's why Holyfield-Valuev was intriguing to me... I KNEW it would be boring... but it was the significance factor.

If hes going to move up to Heavyweight, he should fight the best. Dont pull some bull**** and take advantage of the worst HW champs ever (Valuev).

Fight the best, Wlad or Vitali.
