If so where is a good site to bet on?
Has anyone ever bet on fights online?

There are a few of us here who bet regularly and PM each other etc. However, the payoffs are typically slow since most of the online sites are outside the US and payoff via certified check through mail and delivery services.
Its fine if you bet regularly and cash out (some) regularly but if its just for 1 bet then you might be better off finding a local bookie.Comment

One is a money line.........Money lines are ratios of money in reference to $100. So +350 means that you are getting 3.5:1 odds. You bet $100 you can win $350. -500 means that you are getting 1:5 odds. So in order to WIN $100 you have to risk or bet $500. If you only bet $100 and win you will only win $20.
The other I believe is the over-under for rounds. Its pretty self explanatory with 1:30 and 1:31 of a round being the cut off points of a round.
There are also parlays and other lines. So for example when I bet on PBF to beat DLH I and most others had an excellent feeling that IF PBF was going to win he was going to do it by points.
So lets say that the money line for PBF was -250 for a straight win. However the wager for PBF via Decision might've been -150. So you get better odds but the risk of PBF winning via stoppage would've meant that you lost.
Anyway really think about your bets before you place them. The only rule I place on myself is that I never bet on someone favored over 3-3.5 .Comment

ZZbets.com... You get your money faster...I like em alot... You can sign up as an agent too and make money of other people losing.. I just bet but my friend is like an agent and he clears 300-1000 a week.. I bet through him so he makes money when I lose.. He gets a percent of all losers he collects bets from and zzbets.com pays all his winners for him. Thinking of being an agent but I don't really no about being a bookie.Last edited by Alibata; 02-27-2009, 06:35 PM.Comment
