Ronnie Shields Believes in Diaz, Juarez Chances

By Ryan ******** - With the days counting down towards the 11th defense of Chris John's WBA featherweight championship, news stories circulated that the incumbent titlist had contracted a virus that not only compromised his health, but also jeopardized his ability to make the featherweight limit of 126 pounds. I dont know man, Cintron is a piece of ****. How a good trainer like Ronnie Shields can stand up there and pretend to believe that was a draw is beyond me. I used to respect this guy. He's selling out cuz' Cintron pays him.
As for Juarez, another piece of ****. This guy always blames the fact that he got a cut against JMM as the reason why he lost that fight. Pathetic. JMM wouldve kicked his ass the same way, cut or no cut. Its called class Rocky, JMM has it, you dont.

JMM by 10th rd. K.O over Diaz.

It's been a long time since I've seen two incumbent champions defending their titles in their opponents' backyard. I wonder how fighting in Houston will affect these guys, though Marquez has fought a few times in Texas.

Chris John is the most likely to be affected in Houston. We've seen the odd point deductions that fighters have been subjected to against Juarez in Houston. Zahir Raheem, Jorge Barrios, we've seen it before. Hopefully everything is on the up and up and we get a serious display of what both men are about.

I don't know if it's a third ass whooping because there weren't two before it. If anything, Marquez closed the show stronger in the second fight and was even down the stretch in the first fight.

100% agree. Simply take the lose, cause it was a close fight anyway, ask for a rematch, if no offer is made move on an reestablish yourself and quit whining about it. Marquez had a number of opportunities in the past. He never fought Morales, finally fought an old Marco, decided to pass a rematch with Pac and lose to Chris John.
