If you're betting your rent, food, gas, condom, and crack money, you're a dumbass. Otherwise, party on.

haha, what do you guys think?
I don't know man. Marquez relies on his counters a lot and Juan Diaz is a solid fighter that won't make many mistakes. JMM would have to out box Juan Diaz on the inside to beat him and Marquez isn't an inside fighter. I think you are taking a big gamble on this one.

However, Diaz is a body puncher. And a careful one with a solid chin. Marquez will try to establish distance. While, Diaz will attempt to pressure Marquez to lean him against the ropes or corner to cut of the distance and began to work on the body. On paper, it looks like Maquez will counter all day with any slip up. But if you have bin following Diaz career, he has a solid defense.

I wouldn’t sell short, the former 3 time world champion. His loss to Nate, was not surprising since he is basically the mirror image of himself only with a heavier punch and more experience.

I only bet on fights that make obvious sense. This isn’t one of them. My prediction, this fight goes to the score cards.
what he said. nothing more to add. this post should end thread.

Marquez will probably win but keep in mind if the fight is close you will be dissappointed by a hometown decision

I've put money on JMM myself. And believe, my recent record on betting is great. So, I say, go for it.

I wouldn't bet unless the odds are right.

Although I think Marquez will win, there is a possible losing scenario. If Diaz plays the role of the slugger and tries the bodywork strategy, Marquez might suddenly get old. Quite frankly I am not sure that Diaz could implement this strategy on somebody as fast and skillful as Marquez, but as I see it this is his only hope.

ALOT of people are sleeping on Diaz...JMM Is a HOF and is the overall better boxer but styles make fights and Diaz has the style to give JMM fits. Diaz is younger, fresher, throws more punches and is the bigger natural lightweight. At JMM's age his legs look a little rubbery, I don't see him having the legs to keep up for 12. Diaz has underrated Boxing ability and don't be shocked if Diaz takes over the second half of the fight and has an opportunity to stop JMM.
