The thing is that it comes off as more of a cop out than a realistic demand. As much as people wanna see Pacman vs Floyd I highly doubt that the fight can generate enough money to pay floyd10 million much less 20 million.

It's just another way for Floyd to say he tried to get the fight done even though he is making rediculous demnads that will ensure the fight never takes place.

it's not that unrealistic if it has been done before. 20M might be too much, but why stop negotiating when u offered an unrealistic 8M. schaeffer should have came out with 12 to atleast make him think about it.

I think 8million is more than enough for a fighter who could never carry a PPV on his own VS a Fighter who may be very popular in his home country but is still only a moderate success in the US. Then factor in that the economy is in the Tank and less people are gonna pay 59.99$ a PPV between 2 fighters with lukewarm popularity in the US.

Plus you also have to factor in that if Pac man loses 20 million becomes as realistic as Floyd winning the lottery.

You are wrong, people might be less inclined to travel to Vegas but buying a fight on PPV might let them escape, think about times they could go to Vegas and watch a fight.


Also this thread is not about him fighting a nobody (every fighter draws better against another name fighter, it takes 2 to make a mega fight).
This is about him taking on Shane Mosley who is a name, not a huge seller but explain to me why this can not do as good as the Hatton fight. Also against Pacman who is one of the biggest names in the US, I don't see how that does less then a million and could do much more.


Anybody fighting a nobody would see a drop off in their numbers ask Oscar, that is a cop out arguement.
