john duddy no where near ready for kelly pavlik

after watching duddy struggle through a fight with journeyman matt vanda a seriously doubt he is champion material...he seem a good dude tho but vanda is an average fighter and he gave duddy problems particulary n the later rounds.

Fighters have off nights. Also dont underestimate a hook, and i dont mean the punch. Sometimes guys look bad to bait a fight. Duddy will rough Pavlik up.

If Duddy can evade that right hand he wins a comfortable UD...

Pavlik-Duddy would be a mismatch. I hope it doesn't happen - there's better opponents for Kelly: Sturm, winner of Wright-Williams, Forrest, and of course Abraham.

They should have Duddy first fight Zbik in an eliminator, and earn his title shot.

are you serious... i guess someone has to play devil's advocate but there is no way Duddy doesn't get Ko'd, Duddy couldn't avoid Matt Freakin Vanda's right hand and had him with the jello legs in the final rounds, i don't see any way he survives against pavlik

him moving down to Jr Middle wouldn't be that bad of an idea there are a lot of intruiging matches there, maybe Duddy vs JCC jr.? or vs Joel Julio?
