Well Tony did fight Santos twice, one in PR and the other time I'm not sure where, so why not? I think it would be a fun fight, that's all I'm saying.

Santos accepted a Feb. 14 title defense on HBO against Sergio Martinez and then backed out a couple of days later. So next time he complains about not being active or not getting opportunities on TV, he has only himself to blame

He never accepted that fight, he was offered the fight like 7-10 days before it was scheduled to go down, he said if i remember correctly that it was too short notice to get down to weight safely and that he was a champion not a last minute substitute, that he would fight him with notice

WTF has Martinez done lately? Seriously he is the most overrated fighter on this forum. He's good, but give me a break. Cintron and Bunema? Cintron was competitive in most of those rounds too even though he should have lost.

Martinez lately beat 2 good boxers. The Bunema fight he was a undercard in and the Kermit Cintron before there fight only had the Margarito blemishes. Not to Shabby lately. He is fighting whoever they put in front of him and lately his handlers have done him justice. I just can't say the same about Santos.

He was already in training for another fight he had lined up that went down the drain, so he was most likely in shape already for that fight that was supposed to take place a week or so before the Martinez fight.
