Hatton Sparring Partner for Pacquiao: Who's your Pick?

Hatton’s British trainer Lee Beard conceded that “there’s nobody in England that can get anywhere near what Manny does so it’s a bit of a lost cause.”

"Pacquiao is an extremely strong fighter, got a variety of punches, good on his feet and he can go forward or go backwards. Manny is not just fast, he's very heavy-handed too."

"You are not going to get anyone like that.”

Who, in your opinion can simulate Pac's unpredictable movement?

The guy that has similarities to Pacquiao and would give any fighter good, tough rounds in the gym is Valero.

That might be a good one. He sparred with Pac before and he gave Hoya the black eye.

The only problem is Valero and Pac are now friends.

Another problem with Valero is he's not as fast (no one is), and doesn't have the unpredictable movement.

Agreed. Not as fast, but a ruthless southpaw slugger.

Zab Judah would be a good sparring partnet as he is a fast slick southpaw with a good size but I don't think it will be him. I'll say he have a few JWW and welterweights to spar. Want be anyone in a top 5 ranking tho.

Valero has been in a few of Pacquiao's opponents' training camps, Morales and DLH both used him to emulate Pacquiao, I think Hatton's trainer has said he'll try to use Valero. Valero always goes hard in the gym, I haven't seem him in an easy sparring session before. He's not as fast but the similarities are there.

Valero is a good choice. There's just one problem though... Dude's with Top Rank now. He hates GB after how they allegedly treated him.

Zab is a good one too.

The only problem is he's not a low-level sparring fighter, so it would be very hard to get him.
