I dont know, i think Barrios and Casa have a more than decent shot at beating Valero who's fought a bunch of nobodies. Valero is powerful but gets hit a lot too and has been dropped a couple times, it'll be interesting to see what happens when he fights a real challenger or ex-champ.....and although i dont count Valero out in any of the fights that he's potentially going to take place in, he's still a little green to me interms of fighting real fighters...

valero is no joke. Oscar found that out in a sparring session when he beat the **** out of De la hoya, blcked his eye and they through him out of Oscar's camp. if Valero and Barrios fight believe me you that Barrios will pay for that racist communist statement.Comment

Valero added that it was Joel Casamayor’s initial remarks that sparked the incident.
“People didn’t hear, but it really started with that old man Casamayor. He’s ridiculous, he was saying in a low voice when I was up there that he was going to punch me in the face. Later I told him you’re crazy and asked why he would you say something that, and he was like you’re a communist. Venezuela is a socialist democracy. I told him you are you are just upset because you can’t go to Cuba. He called me a communist again," Valero said.
i hate that ***in president from venezuela!Comment

This is going to be a great night of fighting and a sold-out show. Chavez packs the house in Austin every time!! Keep in mind his record is 44-4, he's a two-time champion of the world, and the only reason he lost to Julio Diaz is because he tore his knee in the second round of the fight. Winning this fight for him means a potential shot at another title so I expect he'll be performing on April 4. Who cares if he's 36....you try working out 6 hours a day after 4 major surgeries, then fighting in front of 15000 people. Takes heart.
Valero is a great fighter but showed some disrespect. Wish Barrios would've swung!Comment
