The guy whose name was attached to RJJ was Anderson Silva, a lanky Brazilian. The one Mercer will fight is Tim Sylvia, a fat American.

Mercer is practically 50, and has had such a damaging career that hes been shot since he fought Wlad Klitschko almost a decade ago.

it amazes me that hes still around. I mean, the guy was pretty good in his mid 30s, but that was a LONG time ago.

this is just weird fight, and Ive actually wanted Mercer to retire for a long time. hes taken too much punishment throughout his career and is fighting way too late into it. I wish they would take away his boxing license.
