This seasons contender was terrible compared to the others. I dont think this show will survive past this season. last season was great and they follow that up with a very poor & boring season even the production Bad. they should make the contender fighters fight at a lightweight or welterweight limit not light heavys these dudes couldnt even go 5 rounds without almost passing out. it was pathetic

You're kidding right? "His arm got caught in the rope"? He was hugging the rope like he was 5 and it was his favorite blanket!

It was unfortunate the fight had to end that way, but Smoger didn't have a choice (and he is the LAST guy who will stop a fight too early). But Hino basically surrendered on the ropes with his back to the ring and was taking shots without defending himself. If he wanted to collect himself, he should've taken a knee, not tried to hide in the corner. And IIRC there was a "no standing 8 count" rule in effect.

It was a legit stoppage. He wasn't defending himself and had turned away from his opponent. He would have been smart to take a knee but he barely looked capable of doing that. I'm sure he would have been fine had he managed to fall down.

im stunned by how bad stamina most of the contender guys had, they were breathing heavily after 2 rds.some of them, like they been spanking the monkey in the dressing room before the fight.
its another sign when versus took over the production, that the contender may not last so much longer. the 3 first seasons were great but this one wasnt good, the fighters were C-class if even that good
