everyone says joe calzaghe picked on old men hopkins and yones well what about yones fighting 40 year old mike mcallum?

or what about yones fighting 39 year old daytime cop richard frazier? ...thats alot worse then calazaghe fighting a champion 43 year old who owns the ring belt....

Not really. McCallum was still respected at 40 and gave James Toney a tough fight in his last fight. It was for the WBC LHW title.

McCallum lost a decision to Tiozzo. Not get knocked out twice, decision loss, 3 wins back over no one overly impressive (Hanshaw being the best, who Direll beat the **** out of) to Hopkins.

This shouldn't even of been made into a thread. Mike Maccallum or the cop were not Jones defining wins.
