Obviously in his prime Barrera was 10X the fighter Khan is right now but I don't see this old Barrera beating Khan.

I mean, if a young up and comer like Khan allows an old, past his prime finished fighter like Barrera beat him......he should quit.

Fighters get old real fast, we have seen that time and time again with Ali, Larry Holmes, Morales, DLH, Tyson etc etc.

It seems to happen in one fight and that fight was a long time ago by Barrera.

In all seriousness, i would like Khan to win. But i doubt he will.
Barrera is on the decline, it's obvious, but Khan is on the learning curve.

Their Skills are diminished/not full reached, but Barrera has the experience which should tip the scales in his favour.

I hope Barrera wins but even through I don't think Khan is up for it, it does worry me that Roach is training him. I think if anyone can help get the upset it's Roach.

Roach training Khan doesnt worry me its the half ass training camp Barrera has had for this fight, he went into camp exactly 1 month before fight time so if he comes to Britain 1 week before the fight he would have had just 3 weeks training in Mexico, with a cut! What sort of sparring could he be getting with a cut? Imo he has greatly reduced his chances of winning by not postponing. Give Marco 7-8 weeks of solid world class training and Khan goes home in a body bag, no doubt about it

True, but to be honest, MAB probably wasn't all that outta shape anyway because he was fighting not too long ago (although against nobodies) and I think he's been fairly close to being in shape, so maybe there wasn't a lot of work to be done. It's just a thought, and I could be wrong. Regardless, something doesn't "feel" right about this fight, hence why I took my bets off it. From what we've seen of MAB recently, it's impossible to tell where he's at right now. If I was to bet on him, I'd be hoping he could win, and that's all. As it stands, I have zero confidence that he can.

I like and feel a bit sorry for Khan, but I hate giving money to these limp Warren PPVs. I'll buy it purely for the quality of, and out of respect for, the opponent in this instance.
