Will cotto fight clottey or berto???

Clottey. He gets a belt against Berto, but probably not as much cred. As a fan I think a Clottey fight would be better anyway.

Which will Cotto fight and why? I think Cotto will first fight Berto, it is the safer fight right now, i feel that Cotto needs one more good fight before he gets in the ring with Clottey or Mosley again. This does not make Cotto a ***** in any way, it is the smart thing to do right now, and it is a bigger money fight, and everyone wants the big WBC belt. So i feel Cotto should fight Berto first, and then go after Clottey and Mosley... What do you guys think????

As a Cotto fan id be more worried about a BERTO fight actually tho i think he'd beat both. Who'd make him more money? Berto should really give Louis Collazo a rematch but i cant see that happening

Clottey has a mando due vs isaac h. & the ibf wants that next, so a unification with cotto doesnt make sense right now cuz the ibf will strip the winner if they dont fight the mando next. If cotto wins, i dont think he would fight isaac next so that would risk gettin stripp'd.

So whats the sense on payin the sanc fee if you are gonna get stripp'd before your next fight.


Berto just did his mando on the wbc 7 it aint due for a while so thats the smart move.

I say go for berto & put clottey on the undercard vs his mando then the winners can get it on for end of 09 for wbo\wbc\ibf titles

Very good point, and i like the idea, the point of clottey and cotto fighting is to unify the belts so i agree on fighting berto first.

just think his speed and style give him a better chance than clottey has. But id pick Cotto by mid to late KO. Clottey will be a distance fight and a gruelling one but im also very confident Miguel wins, nearly no doubts in fact

He should definitely rematch Collazo,but if he doesnt how about Cotto vs Berto with Clottey vs Collazo on the undercard.In fairness,I think that Collazo deserves another shot at a title,whereas Clottey just needs a fight!
