Edison Miranda @ York Hall, UK

Just searched the forum and found no word on this.

    March 20th

    York Hall, Bethnal Green, London

Fighting a Joey Vegas (previously appeared on undercard of J.C.-Kessler)

Presumably to build British domestic interest in his claim to a future shot at Carl Froch's WBC title.

    Where are the Pantera-heads at?

Lmao, Nathan Cleverly beat this punk with ease.

Is Miranda gonna end up back amateur? He's going so far backwards.

Miranda should fight Kessler. The two biggest jokes in boxing.

miranda should be looking to take on someone like bika, bika is a dangerous puncher but his punches are often wide and loopy and mirandas right hand and straighter punches could crack bika before bika manages to land on miranda.

bika comp level is going backwards - imo there are plenty of fighters for someone like him to take on - bika, lacy, inkin, andrade him and jean pascal looked as though they were going to get it on at one stage. miranda is a fairly big name and could secure a fight with any of these fighters heck he might even get a fight kessler!!

if froch takes on miranda and comes in with the same mindset as he did with jean pascal i think mirand could crack his chin

If the Pascal-Miranda fight being mooted a year ago had come off, maybe we could have had Froch-Miranda for the vacant WBC instead? I like that Miranda wanted to settle the Abraham thing, but going back down and getting sparked again only screwed things up for him at 168. I was watching Froch-Pascal on the night - entertaining as hell, but mostly just made me think of how explosive Froch-Miranda could have been.

                  Made up your mind yet?

I know this guy has lost a lot of hype for getting brutally KTFO twice, and the wagon is a lot lighter these days...but any other UK posters here excited to watch Miranda try and knock his man through the ropes at York Hall tomorrow night?

                  Where's Pantera2000?
