According to the word coming come out of Mexico, the upcoming fight between Edwin Valero and Antonio Pitalua will have the full WBC lightweight title at stake. The fight was previously scheduled for the interim title, but is going to be changed due to the recent decision by Manny Pacquiao to vacate the full title. [details]

What the WBC should do is either award the title to the winner of the lightweight tourney because if valero wins it he'll probable drop out. What would be even better would be to give it to the JMM-Diaz winner which would force a match up as long as the winner wants keep the belt.Comment
