i agree. cotto will win against clottey. cotto should win this one for a potential bout with pacman or a rematch with mosley. maybe he's not rushing on in mosley because he already beat the man but mosley will give him more money than anybody else. and with the way mosley dismantle margarito, a rematch is exciting.

I really don't care much for these so called Mega fantasy match ups anymore.
Boxing is getting back on track and WE (The Boxing fans) need to see the best
in each division **** out & climb their way to the top fighting guys on their level.
Manny Pacquiao would get crushed by Cotto and to me that is not what we should
be giving after all the B.S. mismatch fights. Boxing should respect the fans and
consumers and get UNIFIED CHAMPS in each division. Light Weight is heating up,

I got the same vibe from reading the article. Clottey would probably be the lowest-money option...so in other words, he'll choose Cintron.

Maybe... I wonder if Cotto still has something to prove to himself and decides to redeem himself rather than taking a few extra dollars.... But if he chooses cintron, I'll be extremely upset! But if he made the announcement of thinking he can be Clottey, than it must mean something.

hmmmmm....Good point! Cintron was supposed to fight Cotto first but Arum got Jennings. But on the other hand Cintron was done off in the 7th & the referee made a B.S. call out of pressure because he thought he made a mistake. I wouldn't put nothing pass any of these promoters nowadays but if Cotto doesn't pick Clottey next then I'll know what it is FOR REAL and that will be Cotto doesn't want none of Clottey. Cintron doesn't have NO business in the loop and Berto could not be that much of better choice for Cotto financially than Clottey? Cotto just had a EASY warm up with Jennings so Clottey should be the next test because he's the toughest of the 3. I bet Clottey wouldn't ask for that much because he just wants to fight.

I don't know if Berto brings Cotto more money than Cintron. Berto, although young, has the WBC belt and will command a decent share of the money.

Cintron on the other hand really doesn't have many options will basically take what is given to him for this fight. He'll make his demands, but quickly realize that whatever they offer him would be MUCH more than what he would make anywhere else.

I'd be okay with Cotto selecting Berto though...at least we'd have a little unification.

I like Cotto, but I would lose respect for him if he fought anyone other than Clottey or Mayweather. As much I would to see him destroy Berto, he should not fight him.
