While I agree that Judah is in for some bad medicine on Friday, I disagree about Glen Johnson getting better. I think the Dawson of 2004 would have beaten Chad Dawson but he didn't have the gas tank late in the fight to finish him off.

Hopkins knows better? Did you see Hopkins vs. Glen Johnson? I think Glen Johnson knows better. Hopkins knows better how to beat him, same way he beat him the first time. Same way Mosley beat Margarito. You can't just run from these aggressors who keep their hands up well, you have to dig your shoulder into them and back them up. Johnson doesn't throw short shots well, neither does Margarito, so get in there and beat them to the punch. Dawson didn't do that.

Tarver wouldn't fight him a third time, he is a smart enough guy to know that he'd be in for too tough of a fight for his age.

Shaun George, light-heavyweight contender, has been calling Glen Johnson out for years. He doesn't want to fight Shaun George. Here is an excerpt from a recent interview:

SG: I am not going to criticize anybody. Glen Johnson wasn't on a network but he was complaining about not fighting Chad Dawson again. People are not fighting Glen Johnson because they think he is too tough. I have been calling out Glen Johnson from the moment I stopped Chris Byrd. If you look at the interview after the fight I say that. I have been wanting to fight Glen Johnson ever since then. Even before that I have been wanting to fight Glen Johnson but the fight never happened for whatever reason. I am not looking for the easy way out. I think Glen Johnson is one of the toughest fights out there. Nobody wants to fight him but I called him out. I want to fight the guy nobody else wants to fight.

You usually don't get a rematch if you are beaten from pillar to post, lose every round, and are eventually knocked out.

I get what your saying, but if there is a type of fighter Hopkins loves to fight, its come forawrd brawlers. He has their nu,bers. Check his track record.

Johnson was just starting out, with 32 fights, all wins. He got beat up pretty bad in that fight and I think everyone agrees that a rematch would be no different. Hopkins has nothing to gain really, if he whooped Johnson again people would just say so what else is new?

Dawson had a lot of good moments in the fight but even in the rounds that weren't spectacular, there is a winner and a loser. Johnson should have closed the fight out if he was concerned about losing decisions in his home state. Johnson stole the show but Dawson won the fight.
