Probably not because Taylor would have moved up to 168 anyway. Maybe Abraham would be fighting Pavlik off the rebound though.

Had Pavlik lost, he would have had a few fights with MWs and probably cleaned them out so he'd be getting another title shot soon if he hadn't already. In all likelihood Pavlik would have grabbed another belt by now and we'd be in the exact same position.
