If you live in the New England area....

Try and make it to a show in Plymouth on March 6. I just began working with CES Boxing in Providence, im from New Bedford, and this is the first card im working on.

Jason Pires is continuing his comeback...if your from the area you must know him.

Paul Delgado is coming back off his KO defeat against undefeated Jo Jo Dan in Canada. Delgado dropped a split decision to Paulie Malignaggi in a very close fight a while back and was also robbed blind in a fight against Dmitriy Salita. I was just doing a lot of sparring with Paul in Atlanta last month while I got ready for a fight and he just began training for this one.

There are also some other exciting fights on this card.

Boxing is coming back in New England, if you live in the area try and go! If not, then at least spread the word!

I'm in NE. I would like to check it out but I have never heard of any of those fighters. I suppose that doesn't matter much though.

club shows are, a lot of times, more entertaining than big fight cards. just because you haven't heard of those fighters doesn't mean you shouldn't go. you might see someone you like. at the very least you'll be entertained.

support local boxing, support local fighters.

Absolutely. That's why I said that it didn't really matter after. This is probably the closest fight I'd ever get to see to where I live too.

Jason Pires was an excelent amateur and was an olympic alternate. He retired after Rocky Juarez beat him for a few years and recently returned with a win and hes trying to get back. Hes also a New Bedford police officer.

Delgado is a slick fighter. He was robbed against Salita and his first fight against Malignaggi could have gone either way. I was training with him a few weeks ago and he seems real hungry to get back in the ring.

there is also some undefeated local prospects and females fighting on the card.

It should be a fun fight card.
