Well, either way, I give Manny a very good shot at beating Floyd. He's got the right style and the right tenacity. Floyd would build up...or will build up an early lead; but Manny's pressure will start to close the gap by the middle rounds. Floyd's not going to kayo Manny and comparing him to Corrales is a mistake. Diego, as courageous as he was, had more glass in his chin than a dimestore chandaleir...chanda...damn, you know what I mean.

Anyway, Manny can not only take a punch, like Roberto Duran, he thrives on combat and gets fired up when fired upon.

No, Manny is the one I would give the edge to in this match, regardless of whether it's jr lightweight versions...or now welterweight versions. No disrespect to Floyd, who is undoubtedly an all time great fighter, but styles do make fights. And Floyd would have his hands full with the Pacquiao.
The Manny that fought at 130 gets stopped out of lack of defense. It is as simple as that.

He would land on Mayweather, probably more than anyone has ever done before, but he would also eat an incredible amount of power punches while doing it, by the biggest guy he ever faced in the ring (considering Oscar didnt land (or throw) **** anyways).

Nowadays it is a different story, with Mayweather's inactivity, and Pacman newfound side and backward movement.

And I have never seen Duran taking two step back and throwing his hands in the air when he got nailed with a good one (and most of the time he rolled with the good one)

      where have you been, k?

i got pac on this. he has so much better defence than he used to. but i think a bigger factor is his offence and stamina. he doesnt get clumsy and i think he could land enough punches to win the rounds needed for a decision.

would actually be a good fight though.

So I don't know where the "chinny" BS is coming from. Nice try with the spin though.
I judge Pac & Floyd's opponent in their overall resume. Manfredy has a good record before the PBF fight but his overall record doesn't state winning against him was a Bragging rights up to the Hall of fame. Manfredy has 2 loses already before floyd & was KOed once. Many more lesser fighter beat him also after the pbf fight. I can compare that win to Pac's Larios win. Actually Larios is a much better overall resume. he's currently a title Holder again.

Hernandez Lost to PBF but EM, Bobpac & the Old Kevin Kelly Beat him too. Nothing to Brag about.

Corrales was stopped by Floyd. But Casa & Castillo also did the same. Pac Beats JMM, JMM KO Casa so where is the Bragging right again? Many other lesser fighter Duplicate what Floyd did.

Now you take Pac's resume. Pac's stopped EM, MAB & Dropped JMM. I bet Floyd cannot stop the tough Velasquez at 130. Pac was the only one who did that. Who else stopped MAB & EM in their HOF career? Name me the other Fighters who did Dropped JMM??? MAB is one....who else??? Pac dropped him 5 times. That was the Bragging rights that Pac has that Floyd doesn't have.

You can add also DLH. Pac dominates & Stopped him. Floyd just settles for SD. It's very Clear to see who really are the Greater fighter.
