Is a man against man sport and boxers don't just step in the ring and throw punches. It's a fine sport.

It's the only true test to yourself about yourself I think, they is no coach to send someone else in for you if you don't feel up to it or having an off night, no teammate to pass the ball to for that shot to win the game.Plus there is no where to hide once you step into that ring, your there for EVERYONE to see in those lights. An old Rigeside t-shirt of mine has a head with a smily face made up of a tennis ball and baseball as eyes, football for a mouth and a soccer ball as the head and says Other Sports Ball With 'Em. Boxers Got 'Em

Which takes me to the second reason I love boxing…it feeds my primordial urges. I watch for the sheer and utter violence of the sport because it feeds my need for violence. Controlled chaos if you will. Love the rush I get from hitting and getting hit…love the rush I get when I see a wicked KO (hence my love for Mike Tyson and fighters like him) love the rush I get when I see someone on the verge of being annihilated and makes a comeback to best the man in front of him.
Coincidently these are the same reasons why I love footbal...there is just something within me that lets loose when I watch/practice these two sports....it's the best!Last edited by extracurRICular; 02-24-2009, 03:37 PM.

Nobody plays boxing. It ain't a game. It's a fight, but you see who the better man is cuz there's rules. None of your homies jumpin in when you're gettin your ass beat. No hittin in the nuts. No pickin up bottles, rocks, or any other weapons. Only punches, no other sissy ****. And if your tough enough, you can beat a guy who's got more skill. Or vice versa, you can be skillful wit no power and beat up a ripped guy wit nothin but a big punch to offer. Boxing is the ****!

Boxing is the ****!I agree. I love how unpredictable it can be at times. Just man vs. man and whoever the better man is on any given night is the winner.. Sometimes I like being wrong more than I like being right as far as picking winners of fights. Like Mosley's and Pacquiao's recent wins. I thought they both would lose but they shocked everyone and proved us all wrong. **** is bad ass!!!
