Like in the Margarito situation, there were some serious fans of the fighter who defended Margarito, who was handed a sentence of guilty in the infraction of loading his handwraps for the benefit of increased punching power, to the point of discrediting the sport.

Then, there were others who said while I supported Margarito through thick and thin, this is just not good for the sport.

Some people are only fans of a single boxer and not the sport, and the majority of those people have invalidated their opinions by subscribing to these mindsets.

I think the Margarito nuthuggers you described are just Mexicans who are angry at all the hate he got and think it's a racial thing.
