He's about 36 or 37. And would need to train for a GOOD year before he could even fight in a tune up. Which would make him closing in on 38 or so.
The good news is that he could be a power puncher and power is ONE of the last things to go. Also, he's a heavyweight, so age matters less and the division sucks. He could hurt the boxer (Chris Byrd) and outwork and decision the puncher (David Tua). So, since he's undefeated, he's still marketable.
He's only had 84 professional rounds, which is good and bad. It means he's fresh for his age, but also that you never knew how good his stamina could be at his prime, let alone now. You know he's not punch-drunk, however.
Hasn't had a fight in a decade, but he fought pretty regularly before that.
Had a solid chin, never been down that I know of. Which is saying a lot, having faced Tua.
Don't know how well this would go for him, but ehh. **** it. Go for it, I'm sure he could use the money.
I would be very suprised if he got out its a shame what happend to him he was a very good fighter and could well have won the title. its a shame his prime would have been at a good time when the heavyweight division needed an exciting fighter, he is to old now though imo.
From my understanding the guy is absolutely insane and very unlikely he'll get out. Not too mention you probably wouldn't want a guy like that out on the streets!!!
