How do you guys honestly see a Cotto vs. Mayweather fight going? IMO I see Mayweather being to defensive, cotto will come out on the attack and win early rounds. Mayweather likes to come out the second half and try to jump on his tired opponent, i dont see him affectivly being able to do this to Cotto. I feel Floyd would be on the defensive the whole fight and will not be able hit cotto with that strait right like he did to hatton. IMO i got Cotto by a UD. Mosley and Clottey give him a better fight than Floyd.

Mayweather boxing to a UD. Floyd lands the straight right by using broken rhythm, it should be able to land effectively against just about anyone because of the unorthodox timing. I'm not sure if he would attempt to press Cotto late in the fight or not, he could probably manage to get the better of Cotto even on the inside but it's risky and I don't see him taking that route. Mayweather by scores of 8-4 or 7-5.

well there is noooo way taht cotto wins a decision over floyd. i see floyd beating him to the punch at will, controlling the fight in the middle of the ring, and punishing him when at distance.... all leading to a late stoppage in about round 10 or 11

edit: cotto cannot defend against dtrait right hands! big factor!

I have floyd beating cotto,pac and margarito. Pac possibly by ko. I wish i am wrong but thats how i see it.

for this fight i think the key factor will be speed. if cotto can outbox floyd like he did against mosley, cotto will win by decision. i don't see neither winning by ko

Yeh i see a possible late Mayweather stoppage. Cotto gets hit clean and Mayweather's accuracy is incredible. If not he definetly wins by UD.


Also Floyds a master of preventing fighters using their favourite punches, hence why i dont see Cotto's body punches affecting Floyd as much as others think.

Good view, but I dont see floyd fighting in the middle of the ring against cotto. Last time i really say floyd fight in the middle of the ring toe to toe with an opponant was when he fought gatti. He said he was against hatton but he was moving backwards all fight. I see floys laying on the ropes alot using his shoulder roll.

mosley is not a boxer.... he cant box for ****.... hes a fighter above all
