That's the smartest thing to do, it's been proven how horrifyingly average he is at 168 and 175 when average won't do at that level, but he is still an absolute monster at 160. He should kill all dreams of becoming a multi-division champ and just focus on being a Middleweight Champion the division can be proud of.Comment

I like Kelly Pavlik but I honestly wasn't all that impressed last Saturday. I think if Rubio actually showed up to fight it might have been dangerous for Pavlik. The thing that was really irking me was that when he had Rubio hurt and against the ropes, he just sat there and head hunted the whole time. Where was the right uppercut? You know, the one he dropped Taylor with to win the middleweight title. How about some shots to the body to get the hands to drop to actually make the right hand count? He could have knocked him out but he neglected those punches which is why he could only get the TKO. To be fair, I definitely think that fight was what he needed to gain his confidence back, I just would have liked to see him do more body work. Sure he threw some left hooks but it was always so predictable....jab, right, left hook to the body. Perhaps in his next fight he'll feel more comfortable going to the body more and throwing different combinations. I don't mean to be overly critical, but I'm just saying what I observed.Comment
Pavlik would put in on Mundine. He would be knocked out worse than Miranda and Taylor.
