Assuming this, how would Floyd vs Margarito have played out? Surely Margarito would have walked through Floyds punches like he did Cottos.

I would say Floyd has the sharper crisper punches, while Cotto has more overall brute force behind his blows.

Both can hurt but one is a razor blade and one is a sledgehammer.

I think Margarito does worse against the sharp power then against the thudding power. Mosley throws a pretty good right hand, but Mayweather has an awesome straight right and if it was there for someone like Mosley all night, it would be there for Floyd as well.

              Tough to say though.

Cotto is the more naturally powerful puncher of the two.

Yeah one thing I noticed was Shane was swinging for the fences on his shots, and I think Floyd would have been more cautious, but I get what your saying.

Yea Shane was loading up on those right hands with everything he had. To me he did that because he really could not miss with them. I think Floyd would start doing the same thing at some point, atleast untill he hurt his hand.
