Williams is fast....long and has good power.

Hopkins will land aginst Paul...damn near at will....and this might be the fight where Paul hits the canvass from one of those rights you dont see coming...you know the one Hopkins throws without looking.

But at the end of the day...Like Calzaghe did....Paul will give Hopkins angles...multiple angles..he will come in and out...he will throw non stop...he will jab...He will have power unlike Calzaghe....and he will be fast unlike Pavlik.

This is a bold prediction because Hopkins is clearly a monster.

But he will get outworked to a UD.

Williams will win like 8 rounds to 4.

      Mark my words.
Na I dont see it myself. I see him gettin hurt something margarito couldnt do and bhop out manouvering him for 12 uninspiring rounds!! sorry

The bigger question is how old Hopkins would have to be to have a fair fight with Pavlik and Williams? I think 50.

          I couldn't disagree more.

This would be a total mismatch. Right off the bat Williams greatest asset is taken away - his size advantage. His speed, which I don't think is great to be begin with, along any power he has would be less effective moving up to 160 +. Hopkins is a master at cutting punch output and if Quintana was able to figure out Williams a wizard like Hopkins should be able to without any problem. He would get outmuscled and embarrassed if he stepped in the ring Hopkins, it's as simple as that.

Hops will win this, Paul williams reach and height advantage he has enjoyed at lower weights wont exist here, Hops can nulify Pauls sweeping attacks better than he could Calzaghes.

                      8 pounds kid...not 21.

How many significant wins did Taylor and Calzaghe havebefore they beat Hopkins????.....Right.

Styles makes fight..the way I broke the fight down I have yet to hear a good coungter argument on how the fight will go.

So far all I hear is the usaul unintelligent fan boy talk like this..and other posts like" Well Hopkins is a legend".
