B-hop wants a big name/money fight. Why should he fight a guy most mass public does not know(lack of appeal) for no money? The most competitive fight would be against dawson but most people to not know him either(lack of appeal). Thats why he wants Calzaghe again.

The truth is Williams was outboxed the first time by Carlos Quintana. Hopkins would destroy him, and with his huge power and size advantage I don't think Williams would hear the final bell. TBH I think Williams is doing this all for publicity. Anyone can say they would want to fight a fighter, fighting in weightclasses much higher than theirs, but how much of it is bluff?

I agree. People tend to forget that Williams biggest asset is his size and right off the bat that would be taken away if he fought Hopkins. They would be roughly the same height but Hopkins would have a much more muscular frame. Moving up to 160 + would be more than likely affect his speed and power and all your left with is a very ordinary fighter who would get completely outclassed.

You got to respect Williams for his willingness to take on anyone, though.
