Calzaghe win was Hopkins wasn't convincing. Hopkins could easily have gotten the nod. Till date Hopkins is Calzaghe best win.

Paul and Goossen made a big mistake not building up any local fanbase for him in Georgia or South Carolina.Not that they’re boxing hotbeds,but he’s just never had a loyal fanbase. He’s one very good fighter and probably deserves to fight the best, and if that means it takes ballsy Winky Wright to step up and do it, then kudos to Wink. But he economically makes little sense given how dangerous he is for most guys, and fighter and promoter sort of did that to themselves in some ways

He's been calling out every top welterweight and he even called out Pavlik. He wants to fight anyone that will get him some recognition whether they are dangerous or not. Williams will eventually get up to smw and lhw but he wants to take over ww, lmw and mw before he moves on up. I'm sure he will get to fighting abraham, kessler and dawson but, he is a high risk and low reward fighter so nobody in their right minds wants to mess with him right now.
