He just slipped against Barret because of training camp problems, legal, wife, family, negotiation contract problems, promotion problems, weight problems, emotional problems, death family death problems and also he was poisoned before the fight by Michael Buffer.

He also put up a bet on himself to lose and raised a large sum of money to send off to charity, simply put Monte Barret didnt win. Tye Fields lost (deliberatly).

So yeh, no excuses.

The real reason why Tye "God" Fields "lost" to Monte was because Tye saw a coin on the ground and he tried picking it up, of course with boxing gloves that's impossible or under 10 seconds and he got counted out.
