I'd be disappointed. If May comes back I only want to see him fight a top fighter like Cotto, Pac, Mosley, ect... I see your point but Cotto was coming of a devastating loss and deserved a tune up.

i do think he's taken alot of risks moving up from 130 to 154 for fighting bigger guys, but i see what you're saying.. fair enough..

i was just going to say that. i would be disapointed because mayweather doesnt need a tune up imo. A tune up against a TOP welterweight would be satisfying. Clottey, berto, collazo. someone like that not jennings. Although jennings was a good enough tune up after cottos first loss

          Period.

Aah that old chestnut. Grade A logic there.

Depending on when he fought it wouldn't be a two-year layoff. He last fought Dec '07. He could fight in June.

If he was clear on the fact it was just a tune up to prepare him for pacman, cotto, pavlik... i wouldnt care at all...

If he came back ( Which i think is unlikely ) he should take a tune up but i don't think he will and that could get him beaten if he jumps straight back in the ring with a quick fighter like Mosley

at least he's got a valid excuse just in case he lose.

haters will hate if floyd looks one step slower even in a convincing win against a prime opponent.
