how do you rate michael jennings at welterweight?

i thought he was pretty good, good footwork, handspeed and jab.

i think he'd give cintron and a few others a tough fight. felt sorry for him against cotto though, cotto is a frigging BEAST! looked like a wall closing in on him (for jennings) i'd **** myself if i had to face cotto.

        You can't "measure" Micheal Jennings...

If you try you automaticly go into cardiac arrest...

Plus you need 300 Rulers and the scale that they weigh the whales with.

Seriously though...he's a so so boxer...with good stamina and tendency to try to eek out victory's on his bike...

He has a decent jab...but sometimes he leaves it out there for to long and it gets him whacked...Good Straight Right hand with little to no pop...

He ties up on the inside and refuses to traid...he's an angles guy...just not good enough to apply his craft on the best the division has to offer.

I can't believe you guys missed my pre fight scouting report...Not to gloat but it was pretty on the nose...

Cept for I had Jennings winning by Brutal KO.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of Jennings on British t.v. He is definately European level.

I think he is European Level.

I think he could have ran all night, in all honesty. He gave it a go in round 4 and that's what happened. He landed a solid straight right hand that Cotto didn't even blink at and then nearly punched Jennings head off.

It's such a disadvantage to have minimal punching power at elite level.

That's why it annoys me when people says Calzaghe at the end of his career was featherfisted. He obviously wasn't, he would have got beat by handily by Kessler,Hopkins and even a faded Roy Jones. **** that, even Sakio Bika and Jeff Lacy would have done him.

The fight with Kell Brook needs to happen soon IMO.

who else would be good for Brook

Who are the other Brit Welters?

That last opponent Brook fought was harmless.

Stylish boxing, but at a safe distance, looked like shadow boxing at times lol

                    Good British level boxer.

Think some good fights out there at British level.
