I think Marquez takes it with his counterpunching. Juan got some ref help vs Barrios so they may hesitate to do that again in Houston. Doesn't Marquez have a significant reach advantage here? Always nice for a counterpuncher.

Katsidis hurt his hand early vs Diaz so I am not certain how great of a victory that was for Diaz. I mean, I give him credit, but as far as fighting JMM it may not mean much.

I see Diaz coming forward and getting tagged all night long, JMM backing up, stopping and exchanging at times, then backing up some more and still hitting Diaz. Eventually Diaz will slow down from this.

JMM even though he is a bit older is in some ways better than ever, his second fight with Pacman was a fight fought at a very high level.

I know he hit the floor vs Barrera and Pacman fairly recently, but Diaz isn't that clever in his offense, just relentless pressure. And in a way he is the perfect opponent for a master counterpuncher.

I expect the rounds to be easy to score but I wouldn't be surpised if the cards are close or even if it goes as a split decision for Marquez.

A knockout of Diaz is unlikely, if it happens it won't be before the 11th round.
